Manchester Utd. - Arsenal UEFA - Champions League Prediction

Manchester Utd. - Arsena
29.04 20:45
Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsène Wenger lock horns for the 38th time as managers but for the first time in European Competition.
Wenger's Arsenal hold the upper-hand so far with 14 victories compared to United with 13 wins, can Ferguson level the scores at Old Trafford?
In the Champions League the Red Devils have kept seven clean sheets from their ten games, more than any other side, but recently in the Premier League the defending champions have been less stubborn, conceding 13 goals in their last eight games.
Arsenal are inconsistent to say the least in defence, at the Emirates they've only conceded two goals this calendar year but on their travels the Gunners haven't kept a clean sheet since the start of February. Thankfully for the Londoners they're managing to score them at the other end and are now 20 games unbeaten in the Premier League.
This looks to be a really tough game to call, if United defend like we all know they can then they should be able to snuff out Arsenal's attacking threat, especially as the visitors are missing the injured Robin van Persie and the ineligible, and outstanding, Andrey Arshavin. However with captain Cesc Fabregas back and looking back to form and full fitness questions will surely be asked of the uncharacteristically fragile reds' defence.

With the aforementioned players absent for the Gunners, and with Fergie's team unbeaten in 20 Champions League games at Old Trafford, it points towards a home win which can be backed at 4/5. I'm sure Arsenal would be delighted to take the tie back to London level, if you think that will happen then odds of 2/1 will prove tempting. The visitors have won only three times in their last 13 Champions League away games and don't look great value at 10/3.
United's Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo has scored seven goals in his last nine games, in all competitions, and unsurprisingly leads the betting in the first goalscorer market at odds of 9/2. In the Champions League though Dimitar Berbatov has been the best outlet for goals, scoring four in five starts, he can be backed at 11/2 to get the first goal of the night. For Arsenal, Togo striker Emmanuel Adebayor has bagged five goals in five Champions League appearances and is 8/1 to open the scoring at Old Trafford.
Prediction: Dispite their emphatic 5-2 win last weekend over Tottenham , Man Utd do look a little cagey at the back, and Arsenal are plying superbly well. Pacey winger Theo Walcott has scored three goals in his last five matches and is a cracking price at 12/1 to grab the first of the game, 5/1 just to score in the 90 minutes.
Tip: Manchester, Odds 1.8; Over 2.5 goals, Odds 1.7; Manchester Handicap -1, Odds 2.5;

Bologna - Genoa Italy - Serie A Prediction

Bologna - Genoa
26.04 15:00
The stakes are really high as the hosts are fighting for survival, whereas Genoa are battling for the Champions League place. Felsinei have replaced Mihajlovic with experienced Papadopoulo, but the change produced no results so far. Bologna were hammered in Palermo and they thus stayed in the relegation zone, at a same distance from Torino and Lecce, who both lost their games. Reggina kept their survival hopes alive by beating Atalanta and three of these four teams will get relegated as Chievo have climbed to safety. Genoa disappointed their fans by losing at home to Lazio but they kept the advantage over Fiorentina. Gasperini’s team can profit from the fact that their rivals Fiorentina and Roma will play each other.

Bologna recorded an embarrassing defeat in Palermo

Around hundred fans waited for the team to return from Sicily and even tried to clash with the players. The team conceded five against Palermo but should have conceded even more and that game showed that Bologna probably had the worst defence in Serie A. They are making a lot of mistakes and our claim that the club were wrong to sack Mihajlovic proved correct. The players have lost the confidence and the team don’t have any creative players. These are the main reasons for the poor results. They are now on a six-match losing run and they are likely to have a lot of problems against Genoa as well. We feel that Papadopuolo wouldn’t mind one point from this match as that would end the losing run. A lot will depend on the outcome of the match in Turin, which will be played at the same time. Bologna don’t have such an easy fixture list but the opponents are not the problem at the moment. The hosts will be weakened as Britos, Bombardini, Lavecchia and Volpi are still out.

Genoa deservedly lost to Lazio
They have created a couple of good chances but that were simply not the Genoa we had seen against Juventus. Gasperini denied that his team were tired but they had looked out of breath in the second period. In spite of the defeat they remained fourth and if they beat Bologna, and Fiorentina fail to beat Roma, they would make a giant step towards the Champions League. ‘Il Principe” Milito returns to the team after the lengthy spell on the sidelines and that will be a big boost for the team. Gasperini will not discard his attacking approach and the visitors will try to take all three points. They have shown a lot of improvement on the travels, having taken 10 points from the last 4 away games. They failed to beat Bologna in the first part of the season, but Bologna played much better in away games under Mihajlovic. Genoa will have a lot of space to exploit.

Betting verdict

Judging by the last round, Bologna don’t have much to hope for in this match. Mihajovic was playing 4-5-1 with Di Vaio as a lone striker and the first time he fielded two strikers his team was hammered. Papdopoulo will also start with Di Vaio as a lone striker, with Adailton behind him and we don’t see why Menarini family changed the coach as the new one made no changes to the playing style. We believe that Genoa will win this match and the odds are even better than we expected.
Tip: Genoa, Odds 2.4

Lazio - Atalanta Italy - Serie A Prediction

Lazio - Atalanta
26.04 15:00
After three straight defeats Lazio are on a roll again while this weekend’s opponents, Atalanta, appear to be on the slide.
Lazio have now notched up impressive back-to-back victories in Serie A, beating Roma 4-2 in the Derby del Cupolone and becoming only the second team to claim victory over Genoa at Marassi. It would seem that the threats made by President Claudio Lotito a couple of weeks ago have had the desire effect, stirring Lazio out of their midseason malaise.
Lotito said he was no longer willing to pay the players after a series of abject performances and was considering replacing Coach Delio Rossi. The man he had in mind for the Lazio bench was one Gigi Del Neri, whose Atalanta side have not won in each of their last four games.
Del Neri had praise heaped upon him in the spring when he led the Orobici to deserved victories over Italian champions Inter and Roma. Atalanta have since slipped to 11th place, though, and one gets the feeling they achieved safety too soon.
The Orobici have evidently found it difficult to get motivated in the last few weeks what with relegation and Europe too much a speck in the distance to cause them concern. They are six points behind ninth placed Lazio, who are in with a fighting chance of qualifying for next year’s Europa Cup.
The Biancocelesti have a challenging run in, though, which includes the likes of Inter, Udinese, Palermo, Reggina and Juventus, so they need to beat Atalanta if they are to keep their dreams alive.
On their day, Lazio are one of the most exciting sides in Serie A and have a devastating trident up front comprised of Mauro Zarate, Goran Pandev and Tommaso Rocchi.
Atalanta are confident in front of goal too, though. Sergio Floccari has attracted interest from Juventus, Genoa and Roma after scoring 12 goals in 30 appearances this season.
Keep an eye on: Mauro Zarate (Lazio) – The diminutive 22-year-old Argentine is finishing the season strong. He has scored in each of his last two games, taking his tally for the season to 12 goals in 31 games for Lazio. Zarate is expected to sign for the Biancocelesti this summer, but bigger fish are believed to be circling around him.
Tip: Lazio, Odds 1.75; Over 2.5 goals, Odds 2.1;

Alicante - Vallecano Spain - Segunda Prediction

Alicante - Vallecano
26.04 18:00
According to the current standings, Alicante no longer have chances of staying in Segunda. After 33 rounds, they are behind by as many as 11 points to the first team above the relegation zone, so a win in this match can only give them some very slim hopes. But they will very hardly get it and that’s what they’re aware of themselves. It’s clear this team isn’t giving up judging by their recent results and they will be going all or nothing until the last round, but they have been miserable at their home pitch. They’re known to be one of the worst hosts in the league with only 9 points won at home. Against in-form Vallecano, they won’t have injured Rafa Jorda and suspended Alan Baro available. Alicante’s players are saying they aren’t going to face Vallecano with a white flag but they single them out as big favs, still believing they will somehow find the way to surprise them.

Serious promotion candidates

Rayo Vallecano are one of the most serious promotion candidates. In the last round they proved how serious they are when they defeated Celta in one very tough match by 4:1. Now they’re traveling to Alicante with a huge dose of optimism, wanting all three points and to continue their terrific series of results. They are known to be one of the best visitors in the league and will have to use that fact as they’re traveling to supposedly the easiest away game in this season. I have no doubts over Vallecano’s quality and their players believe they won’t have an easy task away at Alicante, who will have to use their full power in order to save them from relegation. However, Rayo will try to use their every mistake, and again outplay them and eventually get an easy win. I’m excited by the fact they don’t fall under pressure easily and that they know how to handle situations where they’re set as huge favs. That will be the case today and I expect another good display by the guests.

A clash of teams with different goals
In the clash of two teams with completely different ambitions, the advantage should always be given to the team with bigger ones. Alicante are struggling to keep their Segunda status, and will have to fight very hard to save it, but I’m convinced they have already relegated. Rayo Vallecano want to promote to Primera, playing fantastic football and their whole team is in excellent mood so all that is making me bet on the away win which I’m very sure of. The guests are no joke, it’s a serious club and I believe they will demonstrate that in this game as well.
Tip: Vallecano, Odds 2.2

Fiorentina - Roma Italy - Serie A Prediction

Fiorentina - Roma
25.04 20:30
Viola Must Bounce Back
Hanging On By A Thread

Roma have undoubtedly been the most inconsistent side in the Italian Serie A in 2009, as they have failed to win two league matches in succession since late January, when they accounted for Napoli and then Palermo two days later.
As a result, their chances of attaining Champions League qualification have taken a massive blow over the past month or so, as they had slipped eight points behind fourth place prior to last weekend’s round of matches.
Fortunately for the sake of the Giallorossi though, they managed to capitalize on Genoa’s shock 1-0 defeat at home to Lazio by scarping past a struggling Lecce side 3-2 at the Stadio Olimpico. A brace by Francesco Totti was enough for the Romans to reduce the deficit to just five points with six games left this term.
With this in mind, the equation is simple for Luciano Spalletti’s men in regards to their European ambitions for next season. If they wish to pull off a miracle and attain qualification, they must win all of their remaining fixtures, which include difficult trips away to Milan and Florence, to face Fiorentina this weekend.
Their injuries and inconsistent form may play a part in preventing this from being the case; however, if they are motivated and determined to succeed from the onset in their upcoming clash, then there is no reason why they won’t be able to do the double over their Florentine opponents this season.
Prandelli will be without the injured pair of Mutu and Mario Santana, both of whom are unlikely to feature again this season. Felipe Melo has four matches of suspension remaining, and his replacement in the midfield is expected to be Marco Donadel, as was the case in the defeat to Udinese last weekend.
Injuries and off-field dramas continue to plague the capital club, and they have done so yet again in the lead-up to this crucial fixture. Cicinho and Juan have been joined by Alberto Aquilani on the long-term injury list, as the Italian midfielder is currently in Amsterdam treating an ankle problem. Jeremy Menez is also set to miss through injury, as is goalkeeper Doni, who is struggling physically, as well as mentally, according to his deputy, Artur.
PREDICTION
It will be a thrilling affair in Florence, as both sides will be desperate to win and attain three crucial points. Fiorentina were easily beaten last weekend by an in-form Udinese side; however, they will be keen to bounce back and impress in front of their fans this time around. Meanwhile, Roma will be aware that anything but a win here will end any hope they have of playing Champions League football next term, so for that reason I feel that this one will be an extremely entertaining and high-scoring draw.
Tip: Home/Draw, Odds 2.4/3.0; Over 2.5 goals, Odds 2.0;

Cardiff - Ipswich England - Championship Prediction

Cardiff - Ipswich
25.04 16:00
Cardiff’s form in the recent weeks have gone downhill and for the first time this season they seem like a team with lots of troubles. They have six points advantage over the seventh-placed Swansea squad, but when taken into account the story they were a promotion candidate just a few weeks ago, Dave Jones might feel a bit more frustrated as they now seemed very unserious in that attempt. Until a few weeks ago, it all seemed perfect, but a catastrophic defeat (6:0) to Preston have turned on the alarm that has still not been turned off even after slim 2:2 against already relegated Charlton. This will also be the last Cardiff’s league match at their Ninian Park as they’re moving to the new stadium. Cardiff will again be able to count on Michael Chopru, Jay Bothroyd and Stuart Taylor who all recovered from injuries. However, things are not so bright when talking about Kevin McNaighton and Mark Kennedy, who will be doing a late fitness check.

A new beginning
Ipswich have recorded a 3:2 win over their biggest rivals Norwich past weekend, but that wasn’t enough for Jim Magilton to keep his job. Club owner Marcus Evans has decided that he simply hasn’t made enough of a progress this season since really a lot of money have been invested in the squad over the last summer. If that wasn’t shocking enough – hiring Roy Keane surely was. It’s obvious we’re talking about a high-profile manager as he already managed to get Sunderland to Premiership in his first season as a coach, so Ipswich fans should be pretty satisfied his team will be led by someone with such high ambitions. Ipswich lost all the chances to find themselves in the promotion playoffs and the position they have now isn’t good enough for the hungry club owners, so this might be the best moment for a new start. Roy Keane will face a few problems at his debut as he will definitely be without Ben Thatcher and David Wright, while Gareth McAuley and Jon Walters are questionable, menaing that Keane will have to be a bit more creative.

Fireworks at the closure
This will be a very emotional day for all Cardiff fans as they’re saying goodbye to Ninian Park, but the most of media attention will probably be on Roy Keane who will be leading Ipswich. Both teams are gonna want to win but due to completely different reasons. Cardiff want to get their confidence back before the playoffs, while Ipswich are gonna want to impress their new team manager, and that is why we could be expecting a match where both sides will play just to score a goal more than their opponent.

Deportivo La Coruna - Almeria Spain - Primera Prediction

Deportivo La Coruna - Almeria
22.04 20:00
After four matches where Deportivo La Coruna haven’t managed to get a win, they finally celebrated in Basque against a very tough opponent – host Bilbao by 1:0. Their hope they’ll be eligible to play in Europe next season has come back after that match. Deportivo are now only 3 points behind the 6th placed Villareal, which is very small and reachable difference. The players would have to keep their great mood after a win against Athletic Bilbao, which is where their confidence was brought back to normal, so at home they will have to beat the weak guests, Almeria squad. Their team will be complete, so they will field the strongest squad possible. According to some Deportivo’s players’ words, they’re stating there is a good team atmosphere in their club, and they’re very eager to get back to good form and believe they’re close to doing that. They got no choice, and have to go for a win and if they repeat the game from the last round, they will have no problem getting it.
Close to avoid relegation
Almeria have almost surely secured their status in Primera for this season primarily thanks to their great performances at home. However, not all is over yet cause their advantage over the first relegation candidate is only 7 points. They’re playing really poor away from home, and usually make up for all the losses at home and if they continue playing that way they will stay in the league with no problem. After beating Osasuna in the last round, this team’s players believe they can get a surprise in La Coruna. They’re aware their rival will have an imperative to win and that they will hardly get any positive result at Riazor. But, they won’t come with the white flag regardless of the fact the away games have been a nightmare for them this year. Sevilla, Real and Mallorca respectively have beaten them at their home grounds. Deportivo are also a very solid host and it’s really questionable whether Almeria can put up any kind of tough resistance at this match. They are expecting a bit calmer ending of the season unlike the teams below them in the standings, but with such a poor game they will have to fight hard until the end.
The hosts have more quality
I don’t doubt at all Deportivo are a more quality side than Almeria. Regardless of good home games by Almeria, this team is playing pretty poor in general and usually gets good results cause of the home crowd boost they’re getting. However, away from home is a completely different story and they got no one to rely on throughout their matches, and that’s why one can see their quality really easy. These two teams’ ambitions are completely opposite and I expect a win of the more quality hosts, who will also get a great support at their Riazor stadium.
Tip: Deportivo, Odds 2.1

Juventus - Lazio Italy - Cup Prediction

Juventus-Lazio
22.04 20:45
Juventus is a club with the most trophies of all Italians clubs, but their long break in the Italian cup has been lasting for a very long time. They won that trophy in 1995. the last time, and a 15 years of break is really too long. Since they wasted all their Serie A chances for the title, the only thing left is for them to turn over to the Cup and try to win at least one trophy this season. That won’t be easy because Juventus have been playing horribly in the last month. They haven’t recorded a single win in that time period. They drew with Inter with a very late goal, also got one point against Chievo, while they lost to Genoa. In the first match of the Cup semis, they lost in Rome by 2:1 but Juventus played that match with a combined squad saving themselves for the CL match against Chelsea. Juve will now field a lot stronger squad, but not the best one as the injuries are still ruining coach Ranieri’s plans. Sissoko and Salihamidzic are still not ready and won’t be available for the match. Good news is that Camoranesi and Marchisio will return from suspensions. Ranieri didn’t want to name the team but the following squad can be expected: Buffon; Grygera, Legrottaglie, Chiellini, Molinaro; Camoranesi, Poulsen, Tiago, Giovinco; Iaquinta, Del Piero.
The only chance
Lazio have only one opportunity to play in the European cups next years and that chance is their domestic cup exactly, as their ranking in Serie A is very unsatisfactory. Lazio beat some very quality sides in the last two rounds of Serie A such as Roma and Genoa, and they’re entering this match full of confidence. Lazio played regularly good in the Cup, managed to defeat and knock out Atalanta, Milan and Torino. Coach Rossi is optimistic before tonight’s match and says that Juventus haven’t managed to beat Lazio in their two mutual clashes from this season, so they won’t manage it again today. Since his team is entering this game with an advantage (very narrow one though), a draw would lead them to the finals. Since Sampdoria got a big advantage in the first leg against Inter, it’s possible that Biancocelesti will meet the team from Genoa in the finals. In that case, the trophy would be at their reach. A big problem for coach Rossi was caused by the injury of striker Pandev in a match against Genoa. Macedonian attacker won’t be playing for at least one month. The good news is that Metuzalem and Brocchi are returning back to the lineup as they are done with their suspensions. Lazio’s team should look like the following: Muslera; De Silvestri, Siviglia, Rozenhal, Kolarov; Lichtsteiner, Ledesma, Matuzalem, Brocchi; Zarate, Rocchi.
Exciting game with lots of goals
“The old lady” is the favorite every time they play in front of their fans and it will be the same this time as well, despite of their poor performances from the past month. The guests are not without chances in this match either as Lazio shown a terrific form in their last two games. It’s very probable that the guest value success in this competition a lot more than Juventus as that will be their only chance to secure playing in Europe next season. Final outcome seems pretty hard to predict (especially at offered odds) and since both of these teams play pretty casual football, I expect a totally open match with lots of goal-scoring chances and goals. That’s why I’m gonna suggest you to bet on the over.
Tip: Over 2.5 goals, Odds 2.0

Liverpool - Arsenal England - Premier Prediction

Liverpool - Arsenal
21.04 21:00
Arsenal could hold the key to the destination of the Barclays Premier League as they play the top three clubs in the closing weeks of the season, beginning with Liverpool at Anfield on Tuesday night.
Both teams have been knocked out of cup competitions by Chelsea in recent days but while Arsenal have the Champions League semi-final with Manchester United to look forward to, this is it for Liverpool.
With fourth place seemingly assured for the Gunners, and the first leg against the Red Devils just a week away, it's fair to say this game isn't the top of Arsene Wenger's priorities.
If the Frenchman feels any of his FA Cup side need freshening up ahead of Europe, I wouldn't be surprised to see him rest a few key players.
That's not to say Arsenal will roll over here. They are unbeaten since November in the league and are sure to relish their importance in the title race now the pressure is off them in the competition.
The pressure is firmly on Liverpool. They are still clinging on to the hope Manchester United will slip up in at least two of their remaining seven games while trying to maintain their own charge.
They've done well in recent weeks, winning five in a row in the league including a vital 1-0 victory at Fulham courtesy of an injury-time goal from Yossi Benayoun.
Apart from that game, a current theme recently for the Reds has been their ability to score early.
Liverpool have found the net inside the first 28 minutes in six of their last seven games, and inside the first eight minutes in their last three home games.
This trend isn't a surprising one given the high tempo they play at Anfield, particularly come the business end of the season, and this style isn't about to change now they only have the league title to fight for.
Looking at Arsenal's recent results, early goals have also been a feature.
A goal has been scored inside 18 minutes in each of their last five games and given their excellent run of form they are more than capable of exploiting any gaps Liverpool leave early on should they go for the jugular.
The even money bet365 offer about the first goal being scored inside 28 minutes is the way we'll go, while we'll chance a point on the first goal being scored in 0-10 minutes at 7/2 with the same firm.
As far as the win market goes, the absence of Steven Gerrard has to be considered before backing Liverpool at even money, though Rafael Benitez's team have scored eight goals without him in their last two games.
With both teams in good form there is little to choose between the two, which brings in the draw at 12/5, while a repeat of the reverse fixture at the Emirates (1-1) is the 11/2 market leader in the correct score betting.

Man. City - WBA England - Premier Prediction

Man. City - WBA
19.04 16:00
This is a difficult game to predict given that City's season is effectively over following their UEFA Cup exit at the hands of Hamburg on Thursday.
Mark Hughes' men won the second leg 2-1 but went out 4-3 on aggregate following a 3-1 defeat in Germany.
They are now out of all cup competitions and have nothing to play for in the Premier League with last week's home defeat to Fulham leaving them four places and six points off West Ham in the race for the final European spot.
For West Brom it's a similar scenario. They are seven points from safety with six games to go and while it's not impossible for them to survive, all the noises coming out of The Hawthorns suggest boss Tony Mowbray and his players are already planning for next season in the Championship.
So there's little riding on the outcome of this game but, with home advantage, it's hard to see City not winning - they've taken the full three points in 10 of their 16 games at Eastlands so far this season while West Brom have only won once away from home.
A feature of both sides games recently have been early goals. In City's last eight games, five goals have been scored within the first 15 minutes while for the Baggies it's six in their last eight.
You would imagine both sides will play with more freedom so the 21/10 with on offer for the first goal to come between 0-15 minutes looks worth a punt.

Genoa - Lazio Italy - Serie A Prediction

Genoa - Lazio
18.04 18:00
Genoa are playing extraordinary soccer and are on the right track to make a historical success of qualifying into the Champions League next season. It seems that Roma have already dropped from the race for the 4th spot so Genoa’s only rival is Fiorentina. They’re doing excellent at their Marassi stadium with the record of 10-4-1. Their team proved to have completely matured showing some of the qualities that decorate only the best teams. For example, Genoa’s players rarely give up and many times managed to come back from already lost situations and turn their match around. After great win over Juventus in the last round, their confidence is sky-high. Although they’re still claiming they can’t count on their best player Milito, they rarely even mention that and believe they have enough quality to ensure the CL spot. Gian Piero Gasperino is forcing an attacking style of play, so Genoa’s team is one of the most-viewed Serie A teams this season. Gasperini will be using his favorite 3-4-3 formation against Lazio as well, and Ruben Olivera will again take Milito’s place in attack. There are no other suspension and injury concerns so we can expect the following lineup for the hosts: Rubinho; Biava, Ferrari, Bocchetti; M.Rossi, T.Motta, Juric, Criscito; Sculli, Olivera, Palladino.
The Cup is their only chance
Lazio haven’t satisfied their numerous fans in this season. They’re having lots of ups and downs and that inconsistency will probably cost them not playing in Europe next season. After a four-game winning streak, they lost three matches and it seemed that coach Delio Rossi’s job was in danger. However, they beat their biggest city rival Roma by convincing 4:2. That win gave them a new line of hope and they see their last chance of playing in Europe through playing the Italian Cup. They’re already facing Juventus in the return leg next Wednesday. The Old Lady have secured the CL, so everyone in Lazio are hoping they’ll be able to keep the advantage from the first leg (2:1). A match against Genoa will serve them as good preparation and if they record a good result, their confidence will be additionally boosted. The question is what kind of team will Rossi be fielding, but two sure absences are Kolarov and Siviglia, as well as suspended Metuzalem and Brocchi. Their team could be looking like this: Muslera, De Silvestri, Diakite, Rozehnal, Radu; Lichtsteiner, Ledesma, Dabo, Foggia; Pandev, Zarate.
Griffons with the advantage
Genoa’s form, especially at home, makes them clear favs in this clash. Lazio are definitely not to be underestimated, cause there are a few extraordinary individuals in this squad, who can resolve the match on their own anytime. Another fact that should be taken into account is that a lot of Lazio’s players still haven’t signed contracts for the next season, so they will be giving their best to prove to club’s president Lotito and show they deserve to keep their club status. However, they will be thinking about their return leg with Juventus in the Cup, and with an incomplete squad coming to Genoa they won’t be able to match the hosts completely. I believe in Genoa, and think this match will be one of their biggest steps in their history and their first CL appearance.
Tip: Genoa, Odds 1.85

Hansa - Oberhausen Germany 2. Bundesliga Prediction

Hansa - Oberhausen
17.04 18:30
It could be said that Hansa is actually doing very good in the championship, considering all the stuff that have been happening during this season for them. They changed as many as three coaches this year, lots of players were injured and finally there was that long and big series of bad results and desperate performances. First coach Pagelsdorf was replaced by Eilts, and when he didn’t manage to make the satisfactory improvement, Zachhuber was brought instead of him. This coach has already been this Eastern German team’s manager in the past and is pretty familiar with the situation in this club. He did good and the positive results started coming their way. Zachhuber is claiming his team will play better as the league is coming to an end and they will secure the Zweite Bundesliga status before the last round. They’re currently in the play-out spot but everyone in Rostock is hoping they will escape that position after this round already. A lot of players are still out due to injuries and suspensions: Dorn, Yelen, Rathgeb, Morais, Gledson all can’t play but the team that played the last four matches if totally healthy so Zachhuber won’t be shuffling the cards too much. The only guy Zachhuber could’ve counted on, but who will not play is Bartels who is still under suspension due to red card. His team will probably look like this:Hahnel - Schöneberg, Bülow, Orestes, Oczipka - Svärd - Schindler, Fillinger - Retov - Kern, Kroos.
No need to get nervous
Oberhausen’s players don’t have any reason to get nervous. They don’t have any chance to come close to the teams from the top, but they still won enough points in order not to worry about their relegation status. However, coach Luginger is asking his players to be serious, saying they are just a few matches close to secure the Zweite status completely. Oberhausen will be pretty weakened in this match cause their squad is hurt by missing of Kruse who got his 5th yellow card and received an automatic suspension. Regulars Landers and Heppke also won’t play due to injuries. Their main striker Terranova is under a question mark, as he hasn’t practiced due to vertebra problems. Oberhausen’s lineup could be the following:Pirson - Pappas, B. Reichert, Schlieter - Falkenberg, T. Reichert, Embers - Stoppelkamp, Kaya - Nöthe, Terranova.
Motives and absences
Hansa is fighting for their lives, their players have proven to be very capable of playing solid and handling the pressure. On the other hand, Oberhausen really don’t have many sports-like motives before this match as they practically accomplished all the goals in this season. Besides, Hansa has a home-field advantage while Oberhausen has a lot of personnel problems due to absences of a few first-team regulars. All these things lead me to suggest a bet on the home win that would significantly help Hansa to improve their chances for survival in Zweite Bundesliga.
Tip: Hansa, Odds 1.75

Dynamo - PSG UEFA - UEFA Cup Prediction

Dynamo - PSG
16.04 18:30
Dynamo is a club with a very rich tradition and one very successful history of playing in the European competitions. Their titles in now former Cup Winners’ Cup back in 1975. and 1986. will always be remembered. For quite a long time, Dynamo was unbeatable in the domestic championship; however, they started to lose their dominance in the last couple of years and had to hand it over to Shakhtar Donetsk. This year they’re on the best way to regain that dominance since they’re ahead of Shakhtar in the domestic championship by 15 points with only 7 rounds to go. Since their job in their league is almost done, their thoughts and hopes are completely turned to UEFA Cup cause after a few unfulfilling seasons they again have a chance to fight for the trophy in Europe. Coach Semin is fully satisfied with their performance in the first quarterfinal leg cause Dynamo was totally equal side in Paris. They will be favs in the return leg cause no team finds it easy to play at the Valeri Lobanovskiy stadium. Semin doesn’t have too many squad issues; the only missings will be midfielder Mykhalyk as well as Pape Diakhate. All other players are ready so we are ought to expect the following lineup: Bogush; Betao, Sabljic, El Kaddouri, Yussuf; Correa, Vukojevic; Ninkovic, Eremenko, Aliyev; Milevskiy.
A good season
After horrible last season when they avoided relegation in the last round, PSG has fully turned the page this year. Coach Le Guen formed a very tough and disciplined team, and their results have been very solid. They’re sharing the 4th place in the standings, and have a nice chance to fight for the CL. They recorded excellent results in UEFA Cup, knocking out some very strong sides like Braga or Wolfsburg. They’re playing very tough football and hardly concede goals. Le Guen said that once you enter the quarterfinals, you should give your best in order to record the biggest success possible. However, the French public has been criticizing PSG’s coach cause he probably won’t include two of their best players Makelele and Giuly in the starting lineup. Le Guen expects a lot from their young guns, but two of them won’t be able to play due to injuries. Sakho and Arnaud haven’t managed to heal their injuries in time, while leading striker Horeau’s status is also questionable. The lineup could look like the following: Landreau; Ceara, Makonda, Camara, Traore; Clement, Chantome, Rothen, Sessegnon; Luyindula, Hoarau.
Dynamo are slightly better
PSG have managed to come back from a deficit in the previous rounds of this year’s UEFA Cup, so Dynamo can not allow themselves to underestimate them in this clash. However, the home field advantage, as well as the mixed squad of the guests put the guys from Kiev in the position of favorites. Although this is a very hard match to predict, I suggest a home win, but for medium stakes only.
Tip: Dynamo, Odds 1.85

Chelsea - Liverpool UEFA - Champions League Prediction

Chelsea - Liverpool
14.04 20:45
Chelsea have already completed most of the job in this quarterfinals clash in the first leg already. They played an outstanding game at Anfield and stepped through the semifinals doors halfway. Very few people expected such an astonishing performance of “the Blues”, and nobody even dreamed about the possibility to score as many as three goals in that match. The majority of that job was done by Bane Ivanovic, who shocked the home crowd and Liverpool’s players with two awesome goals while Drogba finished “the Reds” with the third goal and almost surely resolved the entire dilemma about the semifinals. Ever since Hiddink became Chelsea’s coash, a visible progress in their game is noticeable and they’re in a series of good results in the Premiership as well. As I said, their semis spot is almost guaranteed while they’re still hoping to win the Premiership title too, although those chances are very slim. Abramovic is probably regretting he hasn’t hired the Dutch coach earlier cause this could’ve been one of the most successful seasons in Chelsea’s history. A win in Liverpool boosted their confidence a lot up to the point some of Chelsea’s players are slowly announcing that this could be the season when Chelsea will finally win the Champions League. It’s still too early to talk about it, especially knowing they will have to beat Barcelona first, the team that shown the most of all in this year’s CL season. Hiddink is warning his players to have a serious approach saying that the clash with Liverpool still isn’t over. Their advantage is huge but the job has to be routinely done all the way. Hiddink won’t be able to count on the suspended team captain Terry and recovered Carvalho will replace him. Although Anelka and Deco are also recovered and ready, Hiddink announced that this match will be started by the same eleven players that played at Anfield (expect Terry of course). So the squad should be: Cech, Ivanovic, Alex, Carvalho, Cole, Essien, Ballack, Lampard, Malouda, Kalou, Drogba.
Hope always dies last
The first quarterfinal leg has started excellent for Liverpool. Torres found the way to Chelsea’s net at the start of the match already, and it seemed like “the Reds” will continue their “march” through CL. However, their defense failed to deliver and allowed three goals so their club was brought to the edge of getting eliminated. They’ll need the real miracle cause they need to score at least three goals at Stanford Bridge without conceding any in order to qualify into the semis. Coach Benitez is encouraging his players telling them they’ve got reasons to be optimistic. He’s reminding them Liverpool scored four goals against Manchester, and then five against Aston Villa. He ended his statement with the comment his team was able to make up for the three goals deficit just during one half against Milan in the CL finals, so he doesn’t see the reason why wouldn’t they be able to do that in 90 minutes against Chelsea. The Spanish coach was additionally encouraged by the last Chelsea’s league match, cause the Blues’ defense conceded three times in front of not too strong Bolton. Steven Gerrard will be ready for the match cause his injury has been healed. He will be the main hope for the guests together with Torres. Mascherano is also returning to the team from suspension. Benitez announced the following squad: Reina, Arbeloa, Carragher, Skrtel, Aurelio, Kuyt, Mascherano, Alonso, Riera, Gerrard, Torres.
A lot more risk
The scoreline from the first leg will seriously influence the playing style of both teams in the rematch. Liverpool will have to drop their regular playing style and will have to add a lot more risk in attempt to make up for the big goal deficit they’ll be trying to beat. Chelsea, on the other hand, can play calm and of course try to punish potentially too offensive tactics of their opponents. I expect both sides to have their chances and both to score. That’s why I advice you to bet on over 2.5, even though this clash was originally thought to be one of the lowest-scoring ones out of all quarterfinals matches.
Tip: Over 2.5 goals, Odds 2.2

Numancia - Espanyol Spain - Primera Prediction

Numancia - Espanyol
12.04 17:00
Numancia missed a great chance to beat Betis in Seville and they ended up salvaging one point, having equalized deep into the injury time. Espanyol surprised everyone by beating Deportivo and thus kept their survival hopes alive. This should be a very exciting match and Espanyol will have a big help from the traveling fans.

Must win game for the hosts
The way things were going in the match against Betis, Numancia can be satisfied with one point. Even though Numancia had a 2:1 lead until the final five minutes, they allowed the hosts to overturn the deficit through Cani and Oliveira and it seemed that all the points would stay in Seville. However, Numancia are famous for never giving up and they have saved a couple of points in the dying stages of some games. We still remember the win over Espanyol in the first part to the season and the triumph over Valladolid, when they scored three goals in the final six minutes. They proved their never-say-die attitude in Seville by scoring from the penalty spot deep into the injury time and thus salvaged one point. Should they beat Espanyol on Sunday, they will go five points clear of the Catalans, while at the same time they would probably be tied on points with Recreativo, who are unlikely to get any points from Camp Nou. Coach Pacheta will not be able to count on key defender Pavon, who is suspended after being sent off in Seville. That is likely to be the only change to the team that played Betis.

Espanyol prepare to invade Soria
Espanyol managed to stay within a chance of ensuring survival by beating Deportivo at home and they take the game against Numancia as the most important match in their recent history. The Catalans will have a big support from the traveling fans, who will come to Soria in order to help their team achieve a good result against Numancia. The win and excellent performance against Deportivo restored confidence to the team and the players are now very motivated to win this match. Mauricio Pochettino is adamant that he will name an unchanged line-up to that which beat Depor, even though Kameni, De La Panya and Ivan Alonso are carrying minor knocks. Pochettino also stated that he was surprised to see some of his colleagues writing off Espanyol’s survival chances and that his team would do everything to win in Soria. One of the most experienced players, Francisco Joaquin Rufete feels that his teammates must win this game for the fans, who will travel to Soria, but also to get revenge for the heavy defeat to Numancia in the first part to the season.

Betting verdict
This is going to be very exciting match as both teams have to try and take all three points. Both teams have been in great scoring form lately and our advice is to bet on over 2.5 goals.
Tip: Numancia, Odds 2.7; Over 2.5 goals, Odds 2.2;

Aston Villa - Everton England - Premier Prediction

Aston Villa - Everton
12.04 15:00
A little over one month ago, Aston Villa was one of the main candidates to end the season at the 4th spot that enables them to play in CL next season. They were 6 points clear from Arsenal and seemed pretty comfortable at that spot. Now that seems to be far in the past, Arsenal is back in form while Villa ran out of fuel in the worst moment possible. Villa haven’t won their last 6 league matches, conceding 15 goals during that period and now barely hold the 5th spot that takes them to UEFA Cup. O’Neill could use this match as a chance to get back to the race for CL in front of their fans. A possible win would give them a bigger advantage over the rest of the teams that are chasing that 5th spot, and could be the turning point for the remainder of this season. A potential loss would mean one sad end of this season so there is a solid amount pressure that can be felt at Villa Park. Aston Villa also have a few squad problems before this important match since their centre back Cuellar and striker Agbonlahor are under question mark for this match. Emile Heskey is still out injured, while Laursen and Bouma are also not ready to play.
A lot of motives to play good
Everton is at the 6th spot in the standings since Christmas but they do have a lot of motives to get good results till the end of this season. Thanks to their good results, Everton decreased Villa’s advantage in the standings, and they’re remaining in the race to catch the fourth-placed Arsenal. There is also the FA Cup, where Everton ensured the semifinals and will be facing Manchester United for the finals. After a bit worse start to the campaign, manager’s Moyes’ team has found the right form in the best moment. As far as the Premier league is concerned, with a win in this match they would surpass Villa on the table and increase their chances of repeating the impressive run they had towards the end of the last season. They’re almost guaranteed to end within top 6 teams since they’re ahead of West Ham by 7 points and that will considerably decrease the amount of pressure until the end of the season. Everton is always a difficult opponent to play against, so Villa will have to be very careful, just like MU that will face them next weekend in the FA Cup semis. Everton don’t have too many injury concerns, goalie Howard is recovered, meaning only Arteta and Yakubu will be out for this match.
Playing to outscore the opponent
Aston Villa’s downfall has been lasting for quite some time and if they don’t do something positive in this match, all the great effort they put in the first part of the season will be in vain. Everton have done an impressive turnaround in their season and are now in a very good spot. If we take a look at current form, Everton should be the fav in this match, but Aston Villa desperately want to record one positive result. Both teams are very good at finding the way to the opponent’s goal so it’s very probable we’ll be seeing a goal-feast in this clash.

Sibenik - Zadar Croatia - 1.NHL Prediction

Sibenik - Zadar
11.04 20:15
Clash of the two bitter local rivals, one is in UEFA Cup fight, and another one is trying to get far away from the danger zone and are on the good way to stay up this season. However, Šibenik has the full right to be considered as a huge favourite in this match. Beside good form especially on their ground, and position on the table, Šibenik is also better team in almost every aspect of the game. Šibenik showed that they can also win away from home by beating Croatia in the last round scoring early goal. They have kept full control over the match and deserved 3 extremely valuable points.
Zadar have trashed Rijeka 3-1 in the last round and played one of the best games of entire season. They have scored all three goals in first 30 mins and did their job with no sweat. They are finally out of the "relegation zone", but still have to collect lots of points to avoid play-offs too, and i reckon that they will build their success mostly on their home games.
Both teams are well known as typical "home teams", where they basically collect most of their points. Now, with both teams in the need of points it's absolutely logical, and only right thing to do, to back the hosts who have almost everything on their side.
Tip: Sibenik, Odds 1.9

Nottingem Forest - Bristol England - Championship Prediction

Nottingem Forest - Bristol
11.04 16:00
Although Bristol City still have hopes to reach the play-offs zone, this match is much more significant for troubled Nottingham Forest. Home side will bite and scratch all over the pitch as they must win all the matches at home which gives them slight advantage…
Can Forest come out of the dark? -
Nottingham Forest are in a tough and uncertain relegation battle and a point taken in Barnsley (1:1) meant a lot to them. After a boring first half, home side opened the score right after the break and after that they had the chance to secure their victory through a penalty. However Forest keeper Iain Turner was great in that situation which turned out to be a favour for Forest later on. Dangerous Robby Earnshow hit the bar and than managed to pull one back for the final score. This point might turn out to be crucial for Forest.

Although they are still in the relegation battle Billy Davies believes that he will be able to keep this young team in the league. After successive wins over Reading and Preston by the end of February and beginning of March, Forest stopped and took only two points in five matches. We are yet to see if they will handle the pressure, while French midfielder Guy Moussi and excellent striker Nathan Tyson are on the list of injuries. Gary McShefrey returned to parent Birmingham because he renewed his knee injury, while excellent striker Dexter Blackstock, on loan from QPR made a successful debut.
Slim play-off hopes for Robins
Bristol City and Preston played a tough and competitive match at Ashton gate stadium in Bristol. Derby of the play-offs contenders was mutually aggressive and ended drawn 1:1. Experienced striker Dele Adebola missed a great opportunity in the first half, but he made amends with a beautiful action set up for the first goal scored by Nicky Maynard. The visitors leveled the score and even had a chance to win later on, but the woodwork got in the way. Although City were somewhat better in the midfield, Preston almost took the spoils in Bristol.
Only one win in the last seven matches is the main reason why popular Robins will probably drop out of the play-offs contention. Although we often mentioned that they sometimes don’t have luck in the crucial moments of the match, objectively they don’t seem able to repeat last year's success. There practically is no list of injuries in Gary Johnson’s team, as important midfielders Gavin Williams and Marvin Elliot recovered from injuries.
Betting verdict
This is perhaps the crucial match for survival of double European champion. A win would be a big step towards the safe zone and they stand some chance, considering the lack of motivation in the opposing squad, whose play-offs destiny is out of their hands. In spite of some injury problems, and great number of loans in the squad it seems that home side will be closer to victory in this tense match. Avoid betting on small number of goals, as if Forest concede first, they will definitely play it all or nothing which might easily turn into a goal spree. That is why we suggest a small stake on home win…
Tip: Nottingem Forest, Odds 2.55

Napoli - Atalanta Italy - Serie A Prediction

Napoli - Atalanta
11.04 15:00
Ever since Napoli changed their coach, they didn’t lose a single game. It’s true they didn’t win too, but the arrival of Donadoni has clearly strengthened this team up. Their fighting spirit is clearly on a higher level and their players are giving their best to prove themselves to the new team managers as much as possible. They’re hosting Atalanta, whose form is in a downfall and maybe this match is a real opportunity for Donadoni to get his first victory on Napoli’s bench. “Don” has smaller problems with the squad cause his goalie Iezzo is still not ready, so Navarro will continue replacing him between the posts. Contini is suspended, whereas Maggio is out for the season due to injury. Still, the biggest question mark is Lavezzi’s status for this game. Extraordinary striker is still fighting his injury, and it’s questionable if he’ll take his place in the starting lineup in this clash. The hosts’ lineup could look like this: Navarro – Sanatcroce, Cannavaro, Rinaudo – Grava, Blasi, Pazienza, Hamsik, Mannini – Pia, Zalayeta.
On a downfall
Atalanta won only once in their last five matches and there’s no doubt their form is dramatically getting worse. There are still no reasons to worry cause they’ve already collected enough points and don’t need to be concerned about their status in Serie A for this season. A few times this year they’ve shown they can surprise even the best teams (beat Inter and Roma) but also totally disappoint. That inconsistency was their biggest problems during this season and that’s one reason they don’t hold a better position in the table right now. They’re entering this match pretty weakened cause their main offensive midfielders Doni, Cerci and Pinto won’t be able to play today, just like suspended defender Peluso. Goalie Coppola also won’t be on the team so all Atalanta’s lines will be weakened. Their squad could look like the following: Consigli – Garics, Talamonti, Manfredini, Bellini - Defendi, Guarente, Cigarini, Padoin – Valdes - Floccari.
Heading in different directions
While Napoli’s form is on a rise, Atalanta is on a solid downfall. If this match had a competitive significance, I’d undoubtedly suggest a home win, however, since both teams stopped worrying about their Serie A status, all final outcomes are possible. The game will be played in a relaxed mood, and both teams’ players will have a chance to prove their football skills. The most is expected from Hamsik for Napoli and Floccari in Atalanta. Defenses will be secondary in this clash, and it’d be pretty interesting betting on the over. The odds are quite high and it’s surely worth a try.
Tip: Over 2.5 goals, Odds 2.25

Werder - Udinese UEFA - UEFA Cup Prediction

Werder - Udinese
09.04 20:45
Werder is having a very bad season in Bundesliga. They started it in a catastrophic way, and in the first three months only recorded two wins. The main reason for such poor performances was numerous problems this team had with injuries and suspensions of their starters. Later on, the situation changed a bit but they were already too far behind in the standings and since their ranking on the table will most probably not give them the ticket to Europe in the next season, they totally turned to UEFA Cup which could help them play in the European competitions next season as well, in case they win it. The competition among the remaining teams isn’t too tough and none of the teams is unbeatable. Coach Schaaf is very pleased with the recent performances of his players, with the special emphasis on the clashes in UEFA Cup. They knocked out AC Milan and St. Ettiene, and are now entering the clash with Udinese as favs. In their club history, Werder haven’t lost a single match against an Italian side at home playing UEFA Cup. Everybody in their club is hoping they’ll continue with that tradition and that this Northern German team will secure enough big of advantage in the first leg already. Bauman is returning to the squad after suspension, while striker Rosenberg’s status is uncertain cause he injured his back in the last match versus Hannover. Their team could look something like this: Wiese - Prodl, Naldo, Mertesacker, Boenisch - Ozil, Frings, Diego, Niemeyer - Almeida, Pizarro.
A strange season
Udinese is playing with lots of ups and downs this year. They started the season on an excellent note and it seemed like they would be the most serious opposition to the best Italian squads. However, in an 11-game series between November-January, Udinese managed to win only 3 out of possible 33 points. That time period ruined all their hopes about high ranking in Serie A. Still, the relegation is definitely avoided and now all their thoughts are turned to UEFA Cup. They’re the last Italian representative in Europe and will give their best to defend the World Cup’s holders reputation that’s been totally shaken up this year. Coach Marino said that his team has stabilized and isn’t without chances to fight for this trophy. Regardless of their loss in last Sunday’s match against Inter, Marino was satisfied with his team’s play and noted that “The Zebras” were the better side but conceded an unfortunate goal. Udinese will be very handicapped by the missing of their captain Di Natale, who is out for the season. Their main goalie Handanovic also won’t be featuring, adding that Domizzi is returning after suspension. The most probable lineup for Udinese: Belardi, Domizzi, Zapata, Felipe, Pasquale - Inler, D’Agostini, Asamoah - Pepe, Sanchez, Quagliarella.
Goals
Werder is known for their attacking style of play, and Udinese’s coach has pointed out that his team won’t face Werder with a defensive tactics. He’s established the proper formation with three strikers so we should expect an open and exciting match. Werder is the fav to win but the guests from Udiene have proven to be a very tough nut to crack in the past ever since the last round’s clash where they knocked the former UEFA Cup champs Zenit. Pizarro and Diego are totally in-form now, while Quagliarella proved many times that only one careless mistake by the defenders can be enough for him to score a goal. I suggest an over 2.5.
Tip: Over 2.5 goals, Odds 1.82

Barcelona - Bayern Munich Champions League Prediction

Barcelona - Bayern Munich
08.04 20:45
The whole Spanish public expects that Barcelona finally end the domination that English clubs had in the Champions League in recent years, and get back the title of the best European team to Spain. Catalonian’s quality gives them the right to do that but the way to that trophy is very difficult and shaky. Coach Guardiola is trying to make his players focus exclusively thinking about their today’s rival in order to stay fully concentrated. The crisis that hit Barca in February is gone now, they were already the team we were used to see in March. They recorded four consecutive wins in the championship, while they blew Lyon off in the CL (5:2). It seems Barca is reaching the right form when most needed, and not many fans of this club will be satisfied if they would end this season without both trophies. Club president Laporta was clearly unhappy after the quarterfinals draw in CL because he was hoping for the 2nd leg to be played in Barcelona. This way Barca have to attack right from the start of this clash and try to resolve everything at their home ground. That can be a double-edged sword cause Bayern is also a very good squad. Guardiola announced that he is through with changing the tactics all the time and won’t make any more rotations in his squad and will surely field the strongest possible lineup. Abidal and Milito are out sidelined, but Iniesta, Puyol, Hleb and Toure recovered and will be Guardiola’s options for tonight. He didn’t want to announce the first eleven but his team will most probably look like this: Valdes, Alves, Pique, Marquez, Puyol, Xavi, Toure, Iniesta, Messi, Eto`o, Henry.
Outsiders?
It’s really unusual for Bayern to be the outsider in one match, no matter who the opponent is. The Germans have an excellent team and surely don’t even weal as the weaker rival in this clash. Although they play very inconsistent during the whole season, at moments they’re showing their real quality, which was best felt by Sporting who was literally decapitated in two legs by aggregate score of 12:1. Saturday’s loss to Wolfsburg surely won’t encourage Bayern’s players before this game, but it has to be admitted they played that game already thinking about Barcelona. Coach Klinsmann said he is satisfied that everybody sees Barcelona as the big fav cause that fact will take a bit of pressure of his players’ backs. However, he didn’t miss out to admit Barcelona will prove to be the better side only if they knock Bayern out of CL. Ex-German national team manager believes that every clash is tight in this part of the competition cause only the best teams remained. The tradition is actually on Bayern’s side, cause in the last two mutual games they managed to beat their tonight’s rivals. In the last four clashes between these two sides, Bayern won three times and one match was ended in a draw. Klinsmann pointed out to another very important fact: Barcelona conceded the most goals of all teams that are participating in this year’s quarterfinals – 11 goals in 8 matches. The Germans will build their tactics exactly on this fact. Unfortunately for Klinsmann Bayern will play tonight’s match very weakened. Beside the long-term injured Klose, defender Lucio and Van Buyten also won’t be available for tonight. Their defense will be weakened, but the return of Demichelis to the team will make other defender breathe a bit easier. Toni and Borowski are ready, so is the main player of the Munich club Ribery. The team will look like this: Rensing; Oddo, Demichelis, Breno, Lahm; Schweinsteiger, Van Bommel, Ze Roberto, Ottl; Ribery, Toni.
Fireworks
This is a clash of two most efficient teams in CL. The hosts are big favs to win this match but in my opinion it’s much more certain that a lot of goals will be scored than Barca to win. Barcelona will play completely offensive, their only weaknesses are in a bit slower defense. The Germans will undoubtedly defend but in all their matches from this season they’ve shown they’ve got extraordinary individuals who can score a goal with one move. I think that both nets will be shaken, over 2.5 seems like a very tempting bet. The odds aren’t really too great, so those that like to risk a bit more could even try with the over 3.5.
Tip: Over 2.5 goals, Odds 1.7

Villarreal - Arsenal UEFA - Champions League Prediction

Villarreal - Arsenal
07.04 20:45
Villarreal managed to reach the closing stages of the Champions League for the second time in the last few years but they face a difficult job against revived Arsenal. The Gunners are doing great lately and they will have some very important players back for this clash, which makes them the favourites to go through.

Villarreal are struggling lately
Villarreal have made a lot of progress in the last few years and they have emerged as one of the leading teams in Spain. They did surprisingly well in Europe for such a small club and they were very close to reaching the Champions League final in 2006, when they were stopped by Arsenal in the semis. We are sure that the Yellow Submarine will be eager to get revenge for the aforementioned defeat. Manuel Pellegrini’s team have been somewhat inconsistent this season but they reached the quarter-finals by eliminating Panathinaikos and they will now try to do the same against Arsenal. Villarreal’s form is on the downtrend as they lost two of the last three games, but they are still a force to be reckoned with at their El Madrigal. They are yet to lose a home game in the Champions League, thus Arsenal face a difficult task. We have no doubts that the hosts will attack from the start and try to create a good advantage before the return leg, but their chances have been decreased as excellent winger Santi Cazorla have picked up an injury in the 3:0 defeat to Almeria and he will not be back this season. However, midfielders Senna and Cani have recovered and they will be fit to play, whereas Ibagaza returns from a domestic suspension. Rossi and Nihat are likely to start up front and the visitors will have problems containing them.

Fabregas and Adebayor are back
Arsenal had had a very slow start to the season, but they have shown a lot of improvement lately and their uptrend in form couldn’t have come in a better time as the Gunners still have a good chance to save this season. The latest run of good results saw them leapfrog Aston Villa in the fight for the Champions League place, while they also managed to eliminate Roma from the top European competition. The atmosphere in the team is great at the moment, especially as Walcott, Adebayor and Fabregas have recovered from injuries and that was a big boost for the team. These are all key players for Arsene Wenger’s team and the latest results are the perfect proof. The Gunners won the last four games in all competitions and they enter this match in great spirits. Andrei Arshavin is not eligible to play, but with the aforementioned players back, that wouldn’t be a problem. Van Persie, Eduardo and Diaby are also out, but Nasri could recover in time to face Villarreal. We have no doubts that the Gunners will adopt attacking approach and try to score an away goal, which would help them a great deal in the return leg.

Betting verdict
We should see a very interesting match between two attack-minded teams as both sides will be looking to win this match. This is likely to be a very open match and our advice is to bet on over 2.5 goals.

CZ Jena - Braunschweig Germany - 3. Bundesliga Prediction

CZ Jena - Braunschweig
07.04 19:00
New Jena`s coach Marc Fascher has introduced a new playing style to this club. The tactics have been changed and Carl Zeiss is now playing in a 4-4-2 formation. The coaching change has brought something good and that was proven by their solid game in Dresden from the last round. Jena did play extraordinarly good then but the quality prevailed and the home team eventually won 2:0. Fascher is satisfied with his team`s game, but he expects his team to start recording wins in the upcoming fixtures. He has a big trust in his team and in his words, his team possesses a lot of potential and experience. That will use them a lot in the remaining part of the championship and he expects that his team secures the place in the league for the next season. Last year, Jena played in German 2. Bundesliga and relegated and now after only one season they`re close to relegation to Regional league which would be one of the worst results in Jena`s club history so everybody expects them to put the missing pieces of the puzzle back in place and secure that spot. Their fans are still supporting their club traveling to every away game in great numbers, which proves their 2000 fans in the last away game in Dresden. The stadium will be completely crowded in this match cause all the tickets have already been sold out. I`m almost sure this team, together with the experienced coach Fasher, can beat relaxed Eintracht. Jena surely possesses the quality and they will have to show it some time soon. A win in front of their fans in this match is the best way to get on the safe track.
Calm
Eintracht Braunschweig`s players are traveling to Jena completely calm and such a relaxed mood is caused by their win from the last round against Burghausen. It could be easily said that Eintracht won unexpectedly in their last away match making themselves feel more comfortable before the next matches in the championship. They escaped the relegation zone by 8 points now and if they continue playing good at home, their survival in the league should not be in danger. They usually travel to their away games with the intetion of winning at least one points, while their team is very satisfied with the win. However, it`s almost unreasonable to talk about that at such tough home grounds. Their coach Torsten Lieberknecht is stating they are traveling to Jena with full respect to the home team and said that Jena possesses the quality good enough to secure the place in 3. league next season as well. He respects their coach Fasher, who he sees as very experienced and real team`s leader, who has done a lot for the team in such a short period of time. His team isn`t coming to Jena without any motives, their imperative is to get at least a draw, while their away win would be a true sensation, which is what they`re totally aware of.
Carl Zeiss is waking up
It`s the right time for Carl Zeiss Jena`s team to get their first win in the second part of the championship. Their performances have been significantly better since coach Fasher took over. Their constant progress is expected so they`ll be aiming for a win in this match. Jena possess a quality squad and it would be a big surprise if they would relegate this season. Their fans will create a hot atmosphere and full house will make the guests fear for result and I believe Fasher knows what he`s doing and his vision of Jena`s game seems very perspective so I`m sure Jena is finally able to get a win.

Wolfsburg - Bayern Germany - 1. Bundesliga Prediction

Wolfsburg - Bayern
04.04 15:30
Wolfsburg are by far the most successful team in the second part of the season, having in mind that Magath’s men didn’t lose a single match and won seven in succession. Bayern are also in a positive run, as they recorded a minimum triumph over Karlsruher and reached the fourth successive win.

Dzeko confirmed good form in the national squad as well
Two weeks ago, the wolves celebrated a convincing 3:0 win in Bielefeld and continued the excellent tradition on this ground. The heroes of the game were Gentner, Grafite and Dejagah, while Dzeko didn't get on the score sheet for the fifth match in a row but he was impressive in Bosnian national squad, where he managed to score three times in a tier against Belgium.
Coach Magath will again opt for the standard formation with two strikers so merciless attacking tandem Grafite-Dzeko will again be the main threat for the opposite net. Only Josue who came back from Brazil on Friday, is uncertain for the midfield. The Wolves have poor record at home against Bavarians, that have managed to celebrate even six times at Volkswagen arena with twice as higher goal margin. Injured Karimow, Alex, Platins, Kreules, Evijuskin, Hill and Reiche won’t be able to help their side.

Toni returns
After three convincing triumphs, Bayern barely managed to handle bottom-placed Karlsruher two weeks ago and in the end earned a minimum win at home. The scorer was Sosa who deputized for injured Luka Toni.
Coach Klinsmann will again be able to count on the best striker, so young Sosa will again have to wait for his chance on the bench. Injured Klose is still out of the team, so Podolski will partner Toni this week/ One of the main stars of the team, Frank Ribery confirmed fantastic form in national squad jersey, when he decided both games against Lithuania. Klinsmann won’t be able to count on suspended Demichelis and he will field Van Buyten instead. Klose, Hamit Altintop and Kraft are injured and won't play.

Betting verdict
Bayern celebrated 4:2 in the first part of the season in spite of the fact that the Wolves were up front. Bavarians won seven out of last ten duels while Wolfsburg tasted victory only once. Anyway, both teams are in great form and we expect a thrilling encounter which is why we suggest betting on goals.

Hull - Portsmouth England - Premier Prediction

Hull - Portsmouth
04.04 16:00
Although they`re in front of their today`s rivals, Hull City is currently in worse form than them. In the last two matches, they lost and drew once each. Hull`s team manager has a solid team that was in the top of the standing in the beginning of the season, as we all remember, but this squad is constantly dealing with injury problems so it will be the same in this match cause they will be missing Gardner, Boateng and Bullard. I think they`re in worse form than the guests so it will be very difficult for them to win but we`re yet to see what will happen...
Pompey are playing decent football
Portsmouth has finally won in the last round which helped them escape from the relegation zone a little bit. They beat Everton 2:1 at home and now are coming to face Hull and try to get a new win and another three points, which would directly squeeze them out from the 14th spot. Pompeys are an excellent side, but a team that has been having lots of troubles this season, changed coaches a few times, a lot of players have or want to leave but they`re still somehow keeping themselves out of that relegation zone and if they win tomorrow, they will probably there to stay. A lot of players are recovered from injuries like Crouch who even played for the English national team. They`re coming to get a win and it will be very interesting to see how they will play this clash.
Interesting clash
There will be a big amount of rivalry in this clash, not cause of some tradition but because these two teams are both fighting for a good place in the middle of the table. If the hosts get a win they will run away and if the Pompey win they might even surpass Hull and get to as high as the 13th spot. So both teams know the stakes are big for this match and a lot of goal-scoring chances are expected and interesting tactics by both of the coaches and of course goals. My suggestion is an away win, but another potentially good bet should be the over. GL...

Empoli - Frosinone Italy - Serie B Prediction

Empoli - Frosinone
03.04 21:00
Empoli still have big chances to promote to Serie A. They won two matches in a row and are now impatiently waiting the match against Frosinone. They`re currently 7th on the table, and that spot won`t give them the promotion, but they`re only one point behind 4th placed Brescia. This team quality is indisputable, they got a good team ready for big results, so I believe they can get to the playoffs. They`ve been playing very brave as of late, totally offensive which is the playing style I expect to see today too. A win is a must for them cause it would lift them above the promotion line and therefore they don`t have too much choice in this match. According to some statements from their official web site, they won`t have Marzoratti and Kokoska available in this match due to injuries. Still, their coach believes his team can play good enough without those two and at the end accomplish their goal, which is a win in this clash.
Relegation candidates
Frosinone will be fighting hard to stay in Serie B until the last round. They`re currently right above the line which keeps them in Serie B but a few consecutive defeats could cause lots of troubles for them. That`s why they`re chasing goals in every match and play very offensive. They wanna make an upset in each match they play, no matter if they play home or away. They`re scoring a little over on goal per match, while when playing away they concede two goals per match. They surely don`t have a good position in the standings, so the best solution for them is to go for a win today. They`ve been playing decent recently, and such a game comes straight from their good offense. Their defense represents the biggest problem for them but if they play good in attack - positive result shouldn`t be missing. Frosinone won`t have the following players available for this game: Majeta, Skarlato, Giubilato, Biso, Gucer and Lorini. Most of the team is battling flu, so such a long list of absences is pretty normal in such circumstances.
Open match
I think that none of the teams will try to play defensive in this match cause such tactics simply won`t bring them any good at the moment. Empoli is on a two-game winning streak, while the guest have been playing their recent matches in a pretty good rhythm. Frosinone is famous for scoring lots of goals away from home, but they also concede a lot. Empoli is playing good against weaker defenses , so I expect an open match with lots of goals.
Tip: Over 2.5 goals, Odds 2.25
